Book a Meet & Greet
These are only for the train & play adventures
Before your dog joins Adventure Train & Play, I require a free meet & greet.
This isn’t just a quick hello, it’s an important first step to make sure the adventures are the right fit for your dog.
What is a Meet & Greet?
It’s a relaxed, informal session where I meet you and your dog in a familiar environment (usually your home or workplace).
This gives your dog the chance to get comfortable with me at their own pace, while I get to know them properly before they join a group.
Why it matters
Adventure sessions are structured, small-group sessions, so it’s important that every dog is:
• comfortable with me
• suited to the environment
• able to cope with group dynamics
• safe to work towards off-lead freedom (if appropriate)
It also gives you peace of mind knowing exactly who your dog will be going out with.
This is for Train & Play Adventures only. 1:1 training starts with a consultation.
What we’ll cover
Please allow 30–45 minutes, and during that time I’ll:
Get to know your dog
I’ll take things at your dog’s pace, using calm, positive interactions so they can build trust and confidence.
Talk through your dog’s behaviour & needs
We’ll go through things like:
• recall
• lead walking
• confidence levels
• likes & dislikes
• training to date
• any quirks or things I should be aware of
Make sure Adventure Train & Play is the right fit
Not every dog suits every setup, so this is where we make sure the environment and structure will work well for them.
Answer your questions
You can ask anything about how the adventures run, safety, transport, group sizes, or anything else you’d like to know.
What happens next?
If everyone is happy, we’ll arrange your dog’s first adventure and get them started.
